The Most Exclusive Private Chef Experiences For Mother’s Day
A Culinary Experience By Chef Johnnie
For the life of the party mom who wants to turn up the vibes this Mother’s Day, look no further than A Culinary Experience by Chef Johnnie.
With robust experience working for CEO’s, millionaires and billionaires, private chef veteran Chef Jonnie Handal knows every aspect of creating unforgettable experience for even the most particular of clients.
For your Mother’s Day celebration, the team will bring everything they need to turn your home or event space into a full service restaurant for the day. They can plan diverse experiences from a casual pizza night with “A Pizza Experience” to a ten course Modern Keisaki Style dinner.
The main draw is Chef Johnnie’s “larger than life personality,” he writes in an email. “We take pride in ‘bringing the fun’ to the party. From the speeches that we give in between each course on how we sourced the ingredients and how this dish was prepared to making your mouth water before you actually taste it. The interaction myself, the chefs and servers have with the guests when we’re getting ready to serve in the kitchen and during the dinner experience, is truly a one of a kind experience that everyone needs to be apart of! Guests are encouraged to come in the kitchen and talk with us through out the evening," he continues.
Handal’s chefs, servers and bartenders are some of the finest in-home staff in LA working for families such as the Hilton’s, Walton’s and Wynn’s. The team sources all their ingredients from top farmers markets, importers and the highest quality purveyors.

Whether it’s a private dinner or a brand event, she’s all about the details whether it be the food itself, flowers or the general vibe.

The Herbal Chef
For the mama who loves her… greens… with every meal, enter: The Herbal Chef, a unique experience that’s sure to make Mother’s Day a real high point of the year (pun absolutely intended).
Number one in “Psychedelic Hospitality,” The Herbal Chef is a network of Michelin-trained chefs that bring an impeccable level of food quality into your home "with the addition of [legal] Cannabis, if you so choose," Owner and Head Chef Chris Sayegh writes in an email.
“I think our dining experience has been among the most highly sought after in our country due to the professionalism,” he continues. “We can bring in things that have a lot of meaning to them. For instance, if someone was raised in another country and moved to the States, we will try to learn a dish from where they are from to incorporate it in the food or beverage menu,” Sayegh writes.
The Herbal Chef is throwing a Mother’s Day brunch event at Sayegh’s new salon in North Hollywood, Labo Beauté, where mothers will be pampered while being able to sip on Jaqcart Champagne and eat delicious, fine food.
